The version of the comic that you have been reading is actually the 3rd drawn version...about the 10th written. This is a page from the first version of the comic, drawn last year. I wanted to do the entire thing in traditional mediums...which I ended up partially rejecting. I do ink by hand with a dip pen but I prefer the computer coloring.
Chapter 2 starts Friday and the cover will be up tomorrow!

I can't believe I forgot about this page! This is my all time favorite drawing of the Mother ever. I love this moment - the hazy moment of waking up from creation and the first thing you see is this abstraction of a beautiful, loving woman. I adore it.
